I never asked for your love, but my heart seeks after it,

I am not related to you by blood, but I am ready to share your tears 

t never said a no to you, but I fought hard to say yes 

I never asked for your help, but always gave you shade. 

I never understand all that you say, but it's nice to hear you rant and rave 

I am not like you that gives me a new perspective 

yes we are different but yet connected through our hearts
